While the road of life has many twists and turns, SECNY FCU knows that we learn from each of them. To help you achieve your goals, we are pleased to announce the first ever Walter M. Bobesky Presidential Scholarship for Continuing Education. This one-time $1000 Scholarship will be awarded to an adult member looking to start, change or advance a career.
In addition to our annual high school senior scholarship program, the inaugural Walter M. Bobesky Presidential Scholarship for Continuing Education was established in honor of our recently retired President/CEO of 32 years and his everlasting commitment to Service, Education, and Community.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be an adult learner looking to pursue further training and education
- Immediate family of credit union employees, members of the Board of Directors or appointed committees are not eligible to participate
- SECNY FCU holds NO BIAS towards religion, economic status, race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, handicap or disability
- SECNY FCU Scholarships are offered without consideration of financial need.
Notification:
- All applicants will be notified by electronic mail.
- Once selected for the award, recipients must send a photograph and complete a brief survey for a presentation ceremony.
Award:
- Award recipient must have a SECNY account in their name so funds may be direct deposited into the account.
