Another Chapter in Fairmount History
The plaza that is home to our new Fairmount Branch opened in 1964, with the Lincoln Bank branch, a barbershop, dry cleaner, and drug store as the original tenants. The bank branch remained in the plaza through various organizational changes - Lincoln First Bank, Chase Lincoln First Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank, and JPMorgan Chase Bank. We are honored to continue the rich history of this plaza and to call Fairmount home!
This is our sixth full service office location in Central New York. Other SECNY branches are located in Baldwinsville, Manlius, North Syracuse, Syracuse (Onondaga Hill) and Skaneateles along with four student-run high school branches (not open to the public) in LaFayette Jr./Sr. H.S, Onondaga Central Jr./Sr. H.S., Jordan-Elbridge H.S. and Solvay H.S.
SECNY FCU is a community credit union with a 52-year history serving Central New York. Membership is open to anyone living, working, worshipping, attending school in as well as businesses and legal entities in Onondaga, Cayuga, Madison and Oswego counties
SECNY FCU is a member-owned, non-profit, full-service financial institution. We differ from other financial institutions in that you, as a member, actually own the credit union. This difference helps you in the form of lower loan and mortgage rates, and typically higher dividends on your savings. Because our members own the credit union, we are working to serve only you.
