Credit Card Portal Upgrade

We are excited to announce that we are upgrading our online credit card portal on April 30, 2024!

The upgrade includes a new and improved user interface, new online features for our Visa Business cards, and much more.

To ensure a seamless transition, there will be a short time you will not be able to access your credit card online portal, view your card in online banking, or make payments in online banking. Continue reading for exact dates.

Designed to optimize your experience, the new easy-to-navigate application for accessing your credit card information provides a modern interface and can be used with any mobile device, including smart phones and tablets. Features include:

  • Card Activation / Request Card Replacement
  • Change PIN or Create PIN
  • Dispute a Transaction

PLUS: look for an enhanced online and credit card statement experience.

The good news is that if you are a current SECNY Visa or Mastercard Credit Cardholder your card number will not change, and you will be able to use your existing online banking username and password to login into the new system upon completion of the upgrade.

To ensure a seamless transition, there are some potential impacts the week of the upgrade:

  • We will be unable to order replacement credit cards or make changes to your credit card accounts from 4/24 – 4/30. However, we will promptly address any pending requests upon completion of the upgrade.
  • Online Banking Payments: Payments through online banking will be unavailable starting the evening of 4/24 - 4/29, please contact the Credit Union to make a payment during that time. 
    • Payments made between 4/25 - 4/27 will not be posted until 4/29. This means the available credit on your card will not reflect those payments until 4/30.
  • Online Account Management: The online access site currently used to view your credit card will be unavailable 4/25 - 4/29.
  • CardValet: The Card Valet app will be temporarily disabled from 4/28 & 4/29, this means that any alerts or controls previously set will not be working during this period and no transaction activity will appear in the Card Valet app.
  • uChoose: If your credit card is registered with uChoose Rewards, the program will remain the same. If you have not registered, you should ensure your card is registered in your uChoose Rewards account before 4/22.
    • To register login to Online banking and click on your credit card to view your Online Account Management page then select the uChoose Rewards link and follow the on-screen instructions. Once you have done this please wait until 5/7 to check uChoose to allow time for points to post to your rewards account.
    • If your credit card is linked through your debit card in uChoose Rewards and your points are pooled, log in to uChoose Rewards to confirm all cards are linked after 5/7. If a card is not linked, simply re-link the credit card while logged in to uChoose Rewards.
