Manager of Business Development

Job Summary

To cultivate and enhance the credit union’s relationships with current community groups, businesses and organizations. In addition, will work to develop partnerships with potential member groups.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with branch management/staff to provide timely, professional service for employee groups including offering direct deposit and other account services

  • Provide public relations services to existing groups and promote a positive image of the credit union

  • Analyze, develop and implement methods of increasing membership in the credit union

  • Identify and develop reciprocal business relationships within branch communities

  • Identify additional member group opportunities and work with Chief Experience Officer to utilize marketing support

  • Attend appropriate community events as needed (including but not limited to trade shows, conferences, chamber meetings, business shows, branch events, etc.)

  • Seek and maintain Ambassador contacts for businesses/groups

  • Responsible for development and oversight of Member Retention/Reactivation program to be administered by specified departments

  • Conduct staff training initiatives related to business development and member service

  • Collaborate with Director of Education Marketing & Director of Digital Services and other department supervisors as needed

  • Oversee Biz/Med Perks Program including maintenance/reporting/development

  • Oversee established Business/Community Rewards Program(s) including Y Rewards maintenance/reporting/development

  • Compile periodic reports on all progress with related activities

  • Assist with other marketing related projects as needed

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver's license.
